everyone my name is Mister Trujillo and I am an 8th grade history teacher in 8th grade here in California we cover from the American Revolution to World War 1 so anything history we cover topics such as the American Revolution the creation of the Constitution the settlement of the American West cause of the Civil War the Civil War and also America play modern country some chips to make sure your child is in my class wherever their work area is please make sure they have their textbook nearby in eighth grade we do use the Tek quite a bit also this year I'm shooting for two assignments turned in every week for a grade and now that we've finished 3 weeks of school do you have six assignments graded and in the a book if you need to check your child's grade please check are he's pretty good about grading assignments and having them in and reasonable amount of time we do have a political cartoonist find it in my class during first semester this assignment require students to answer questions about a political cartoon sometimes I provide the political cartoon for the student other times they have to go out and find cartoon as matter fact we do have a political cartoon this Wednesday it has to do with 9/11 on River basis may want to check in with your student about doing the political cartoon assignment again it's an assignment that sometimes requires parental help because it's an assignment having to do with current events and often are students aren't quite aware of what's going on in the world if you need to communicate with me please my district email G Trujillo at bousd us and I'll try to sponsor email in within 24 hours I'm looking forward to a great year we've already started off really well and hopefully we can be together physically in class when situations dictate that that is safe thanks again feel free to communicate with me
