Brea Olinda Unified School District (BOUSD) is seeking input from parents, students, teachers, administrators, the community, and anyone who has an interest in BOUSD to participate in the annual Parent and Community Voice survey also known as the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) survey.
The LCAP is the district’s three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services and expenditures to support student outcomes using the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) and also aligns to eight state priorities.
“The LCAP survey is an important tool to help BOUSD engage with our families and community to shape the district’s goals and budgeting priorities and help determine the types of support and services our students should receive to help them achieve success,” said Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Dr. Philip D’Agostino.
The survey will be available starting Feb. 5 and only takes about 10 minutes to complete. Parents and community members are highly encouraged to use the survey as a way to voice their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions. The results will then help inform the LCAP process.
